Workshop on the German market during the Frankfurt Book Fair

Save the date, Wednesday, October 16, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am for a workshop on the German market for Canadian publishers and literary agents. This activity is organized with the support of the Trade Commissioner Service of the Canadian Embassy in Germany.

The workshop will address the following topics: the size of the German publishing market, recent trends, reading habits, impact of KNV bankruptcy on the German book market, perception of literature from previous Guest of Honour countries and experience/assessment regarding sustainability in the market, among others.

Two experts on German publishing will introduce you to this unique market and will answer your questions.

Canadian publishers and literary agents who want to know more about this particular market.

Important: as the activity takes place outside the opening hours of the Fair, you must have an "Exhibitor Ticket". Doors open at 8:00 am, activity should start at 8:10-8:15 am.
