He published his first novel in 1994, 5150, rue des Ormes (movie in 2009). His second book, Le Passager, followed in 1995. His third novel, Sur le seuil, went on the big screens in 2003. Aliss, revisits Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland. Les Sept Jours du talion followed in 2002 (movie in 2010). Le Vide and Hell.com are two remarkably intense thrillers strong with social questionings. In 2010, Patrick Senécal started a four part series titled Malphas. Followed Faims, L’Autre Reflet and Il y aura des morts (2017). In 2017, Patrick Senécal was awarded a medal from the National Assembly of Québec for his exceptional contribution to increase readership, namely amongst young adults. He is a transgressive fiction novelist, one of the most beloved and read writers in Québec. He is one of the few Québec authors who’s overall sales exceed a million copies.
