When we try to understand female sexuality, we often tend to focus on the mechanics of the body. How does a woman come, how do you give her an orgasm? It’s a question of interest to us all, men and women alike. But sex is first and foremost about desire, and desire is a complex thing. The truth is, in these purportedly liberated times, the dominant erotic narrative and the depiction of the sexual roles expected of women are still overwhelmingly male-oriented. How could this not curtail the potential of their libido?

She is also cocreator of Les Brutes, broadcast on Télé-Québec, an iconoclastic feminist web series about the social issues dear to Generation Y.
